Our services

Stormwater Management Plans

We regularly develop Stormwater Management Plans for our clients in both the private and public sectors. Every site is different, so every Stormwater Management Plan is different. We develop plans for small 2-lot subdivision’s up to plans for entire PSP regions. All of our plans clearly indicate how development at any scale can satisfy the applicable statutory stormwater requirements, while integrating design solutions into the future landscape and urban form.

Stormwater Analysis & Design

We undertake all aspects of stormwater analysis, including; hydraulic analysis of pipes, floodplains, retarding basins and channels. This includes calculating flood levels, flood extents and flow velocities. We use of 1D and 2D modelling suites such as RORB, MUSIC, HecRas and TuFlow. We also provide concept and functional design documentation for all stormwater asset types.

Asset Audits

We are lucky enough to regularly be engaged by Councils to undertake audits of their constructed stormwater and WSUD systems. The findings of these audits are utilised by Councils to aid in their future capital work programs.

“Stormy Water Solutions represented us in a number of proceedings associated with a development that had significant stormwater challenges as a result of the relevant Authorities & their consultants. Despite this, SWS provided succinct and clear advice and recommendations on stormwater matters along with a workable strategy that could be deployed. SWS continue to be our nominated stormwater consultant for any strategic, complicated or significant stormwater infrastructure elements of our development projects.“
